Business Development Manager – £50,000-£65,000 + competitive bonus LONDON

Our client is an AI technology company and SaaS platform that works in the automated research space. They are rapidly expanding and have already tripled their Q1 targets this year. They are now hiring an experienced Business Development Manager to manage and execute business development and sales. This role is pivotal to their and you will be instrumental in facilitating their growth and development.

Your role will start with finding and on-boarding our clients, but will continue with educating clients in new ways of delivering effective consumer research and digital activations using their powerful SaaS solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, develop and build sales team from scratch
  • Grow new business primarily in the UK and USA, but also in other parts of the world
  • Set and deliver ambitious sales targets
  • Grow, maintain and build on your already extensive network of relationships with potential clients
  • Manage the Sales Team through complete sales-cycle - from lead generation to initial contact, nurturing and relationship-building all the way through to close
  • Work closely with the marketing team to build innovative campaigns, generate and convert leads

Required skills and experience:

  • 5+ years of New Business Development / Sales experience
  • Extensive experience Selling cloud-based, SaaS or hybrid service-SaaS solutions in the B2B setting
  • Proven ability to be able to generate revenue £750,000+ per year
  • Experience in working with long funnel B2B sales propositions for enterprise clients
  • An existing network of relationships with potential clients
  • Great communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong attention to detail in everything you do
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on persuasion & influence
  • Strong team player and collaborator
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Knowledge of B2B marketing

The ideal candidate should also have/be:

  • Sales experience with Market Research/Insight services/software
  • Passion for MartTech SaaS, all-things data/AI

  • A  leader: able to inspire, motivate and take the best out of the team
