WHAT THE ROLE IS ALL ABOUT
As a Qualitative Research Manager, you will be expected to run a project from brief to final delivery with only minor assistance from your line manager. In this role, you will be expected to embed and hone your existing skills, whilst also flexing and exploring the type of researcher and strategist you want to become. You should feel comfortable working on multiple concurrent workstreams, be able to think creatively and strategically, coming up with innovative solutions to problems and developing novel ways of thinking to answer a clients’ brief.
What skills should you have?
- As a Qualitative Research Manager, you will have a strong presence, with an ability to instil confidence in those you are working with, both clients and internal colleagues.
- You should be able to take a brief from a client and be able to write a creative and compelling proposal.
- You should possess an innate ability to think strategically and translate complex insights into clear, concise themes, and ultimately presentations.
- You should feel comfortable leading the majority of fieldwork / moderation – proactively looking to have greater client facing moderation experience.
- You must be able to run analysis sessions in a logical manner – coming up with creative, strategic solutions, not just research reportage.
- You should have mastered the skill of storytelling, and begin to develop your own personal style to communicate ‘the answer’, looking for new opportunities to advance your skillsets and be willing to impart your knowledge with the broader team.
This is a hybrid role with 1-2 days a week in London. You MUST reside in the UK and be able to commute to London.
You will need to have the right to work in the UK. This is a 12m Fixed Term Contract
