Quantitative Research Manager, Social and Political, £38-45,000, London / hybrid
Our client is a fast-growing, multi-award winning International agency well known for their innovative research solutions and excellent client service. They have an enviable list of clients and ambitious growth plans. Their teams includes experts in Social and Political, PR/TL, Brand & Comms and CPG research.
This is an exciting and challenging role with great scope for development. They have a number of large and growing accounts in their Social and Political sector area and are looking for an experienced Research Manager to join the growing team, and help them to continue to deliver excellence in everything they do. You will be actively involved in managing research projects from start to finish, including direct liaison with clients.
Person specification:
You would value working for a business whilst working on projects for the greater good and building relationships with colleagues and teams. Previous experience within the social sector is a must.
- This role would suit somebody with excellent analytical ability and outstanding communication skills both orally and written
- This is a quantitative role but good working knowledge of qualitative and secondary research is advantageous
- Is currently managing the full life cycle of a project from writing the questionnaire, scripting, analysis and reporting.
- Excellent client facing ability
- You will be a confident user of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point. Being able to learn new software is also important.
Desired skills and expertise:
- You must have been working in the social research space at an agency
- You should thrive on working closely with client and colleagues to deliver game changing insights
- Strong numeracy skills and the ability to interpret data
- Good proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience of writing proposals and supporting pitches
- Used to managing more junior members of staff and working with data processing and management teams
- Experience of advanced statistical software such as SPSS or R is preferable but by no means essential
