SALES & MARKETING DIRECTOR, Remote (must be UK based and have access to London) £60-70k + OTEs - Qualitative Market Research
Our client specialises in both research tech and research consultancy who delivers high quality research and insights across markets and to clients all around the world.
They are now looking for an ambitious and driven Sales and Marketing Director to head up and shape their business development department.
As part of the role you’ll take ownership of developing, refining and maintaining their sales and marketing strategy as well as working closely with the team to grow the business.
As the Sales and Marketing Director, your core responsibilities would include:
- Generating an annual sales and marketing plan
- Generating new business and responding to inbound queries
- Tracking and reporting pipeline
- Content generation and promotion for webinars and conferences.
- Listing and social media management
- Production, maintenance and elevation of sales materials
- Account management – winning back lapsed clients
- Line management and mentorship
The ideal person would…
- Have a solid foundation in qualitative market research and ideally worked in the industry as a researcher for a few years before turning to sales and marketing. It is essential that you have the background, knowledge and skill to confidently respond to and handle RFP’s, tenders and client queries.
- Have relevant sales and marketing experience within the market research industry – bonus points if it’s with an online community or qualitative agency.
- Be an ambitious self-starter who is eager to head up their own department and elevate our client’s sales and marketing strategy
- Embrace working remotely but equally be keen to head into London to meet with potential clients
- Be tech savvy and prepared to get stuck into their platform – you need to fully understand the product you’re selling
- Have excellent interpersonal and networking skills to build great relationships with prospective clients and your team.
- Be hungry for growth and comfortable to work to sales and revenue targets
You MUST reside in the UK and have the right to work here.
You MUST have a solid understanding of qualitative research, ideally online communities.
