Social Insights Director


Looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic team leader and experienced social insights professional to help set up, lead and develop this company’s new social insights capability, integrating across the business and developing innovative ways to deliver insight, strategy and consultancy to our clients. They need someone who is experienced in running a team of social analysts, enjoy working collegiately to deliver great work and are brilliant at client handling and development.

Your skills & experience

 

Must-haves

  • You have at least 5 years’ experience working in social insights and analytics with a deep knowledge of social media data across many platforms with the ability to use social listening tools to generate insight
  • You have at least 2 years’ experience managing a social insights and analytics team
  • You have practical expertise in working with a variety of social listening and analytics platforms and tools
  • You have a keen growth mindset, always looking for opportunities to develop and deliver high value insight-led consultancy for clients
  • You have excellent communications skills and are comfortable in networking
  • You enjoy working collegiately, developing integrated insights capability across the business
  • You excel in client management and development
  • You’re not afraid to ‘muck-in’ with both the small detail work as well as more high profile, big picture projects
  • You are interested in social attitudes and what makes people, consumers and organisations tick
  • You are comfortable overseeing the process from scoping research through to implementation, delivery, and debriefing
  • You have proven ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and deliver against deadlines
  • You have excellent understanding of quantitative research, data planning, manipulating large data sets and data visualisation
  • You have strong interpersonal skills - you will liaise with clients and internal teams which rely on your expertise, explaining the finer points of effectiveness to non-experts in simple terms
  • You have a talent for collating decks that communicate effectiveness in a simple and engaging way

 

 

This role is pivotal to the success of a newly created social analytics and insights capability and will suit someone who is eager to establish and nurture a dynamic insights team and work with colleagues across the business to drive its success.
